QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Oasis Legacy Foundation?

Oasis Legacy Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening youth sports throughout Arizona's West Valley. We create opportunities for young athletes, support schools and community organizations, remove financial barriers, and invest in programs that help young people grow through sport.

Who does the Foundation serve?

We serve young athletes, families, schools, qualifying booster clubs, youth leagues, and community organizations across Arizona's West Valley. Our work is designed to expand access to quality athletic, leadership, mentoring, equipment, and training opportunities—especially where financial or resource barriers exist.

Do you only support volleyball?

No. Oasis Legacy Foundation supports youth development across multiple sports. While members of our leadership may have experience in volleyball and other athletic programs, the Foundation's mission is broader: to strengthen youth sports and help young people grow as athletes, students, leaders, and community members.

Do you work with schools?

Yes. We welcome partnerships with public, charter, and private schools, athletic departments, and other eligible school-based organizations. These collaborations may include fundraising initiatives, equipment and program support, scholarships, leadership development, and other opportunities that benefit student-athletes.

Can booster clubs partner with the Foundation?

Yes. Qualifying booster clubs can contact us to explore fundraising initiatives, community partnerships, program support, equipment needs, and other projects that expand opportunities for student-athletes. Each potential partnership will be evaluated for mission alignment, eligibility, available resources, and community impact.

How can my business get involved?

Businesses can support the Foundation through charitable giving, customized community partnerships, employee volunteerism, fundraising initiatives, in-kind support, and program collaboration. We do not use fixed sponsorship packages; contact us so we can discuss an approach that aligns with your company's community goals and our mission.

Where do donations go?

Donations support the Foundation's mission and may help fund athlete scholarships, school and community athletic programs, equipment and uniforms, leadership and confidence development, advanced training opportunities, community initiatives, and future facility access or development. Funds are stewarded responsibly to create meaningful, lasting impact for West Valley youth.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Oasis Legacy Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are generally tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors should retain their contribution receipt and consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.

Do donations stay in the West Valley?

Our mission is centered on strengthening youth sports throughout Arizona's West Valley. Donations help support local athletes, schools, youth organizations, community programs, and initiatives that directly benefit the communities we serve. As the Foundation grows, funds will continue to be directed in alignment with that West Valley-focused mission.

Will the Foundation build its own athletic facility?

One of our long-term goals is to expand access to high-quality athletic training facilities for West Valley youth. As the Foundation grows, this may include developing our own community training facility or partnering with existing schools, municipalities, nonprofits, or private organizations to help fulfill our mission. Our focus is not on owning facilities—it is on ensuring young athletes have access to exceptional opportunities close to home.

How can I volunteer?

We welcome parents, coaches, educators, students, business professionals, and other community members who want to help. Volunteer opportunities may include fundraising events, youth programs, mentorship, equipment drives, community projects, and administrative support. Contact us to learn about current or upcoming needs.
